DESCRIPTION
The SS41F is a versatile, bipolar digital Hall-effect sensor IC that responds to alternating North and South magnetic poles. It operates over a wide supply voltage range of 4.5 Vdc to 24 Vdc with a maximum supply current of 10.0 mA. This sensor features an open-collector sinking output capable of handling up to 20.0 mA, with magnetic operate (Bop) and release (Brp) points between 40 to 150 Gauss and -150 to -40 Gauss, respectively. Housed in a small, flat TO-92-style package, the SS41F is well-suited for high-volume applications such as brushless DC motor commutation, speed and RPM sensing, and flow-rate sensing.
