DESCRIPTION

The LSXA7L is a standard side rotary hazardous area limit switch from the MICRO SWITCH™ LSX Series, designed for reliable performance in adverse environments. It features a DPDT (2NO/2NC) double-break, snap-action mechanism with silver contacts and a 0.5-inch NPT conduit connection. Key operating characteristics include a maximum pretravel of 15°, a maximum differential travel of 7°, and a minimum overtravel of 60°, with a maximum operating torque of 0.45 Nm. The switch supports momentary action in both clockwise and counter-clockwise directions and operates within a temperature range of -12 °C to 121 °C. Its rugged, explosion-proof housing makes it suitable for applications in hazardous locations like petrochemical plants, grain elevators, and control valve monitoring.
