DESCRIPTION

The GSXA01A is an explosion-proof safety switch from the MICRO SWITCHâ„¢ GSX Series, designed for use in hazardous locations. This model is configured with a 0.5 in NPT conduit housing, a snap-action basic switch with one normally closed (1NC) and one normally open (1NO) contact, and a momentary side rotary head. It incorporates a positive break feature to ensure contacts open reliably, and the housing is sealed to IP67 and NEMA 1, 3, 4, 12, and 13 standards. The switch operates over a temperature range of -40 Â°C to 70 Â°C. Common applications include gates, doors, and access panels on machinery in environments like hydrocarbon refining, chemical processing, and grain elevators.
