DESCRIPTION

The HONEYWELL part 5XE17-2 is a subminiature basic switch from the MICRO SWITCH™ XE Series, designed for use in harsh environments. This switch features a single pole normally open (SPNO) configuration, with a max current rating of 7 A at 28 Vdc. It is housed in a durable stainless steel enclosure, making it resistant to oil and other environmental contaminants. The switch is equipped with a fluorosilicone seal, ensuring reliable performance in a temperature range of -26 °C to 85 °C [-15 °F to 185 °F]. The switch is terminated with two 610 mm [24 in] lead wires, each constructed with 20 Gage wire according to Mil-W-22759-7 specifications. This subminiature switch is ideal for applications in which space is limited and high levels of protection are necessary.
