DESCRIPTION

One of the defining features of a Snap Action Switch is that a small movement of the actuator can produce a comparatively large movement at electrical contacts. The XE Series switches come with environmental sealing in a small package for stringent indoor or outdoor applications, where the risk of contamination is high. They are best suited for the aircraft industry or moist and dusty industrial environments.

1XE1 Snap Action Switch from Honeywell has a watertight seal per MIL-S-8805 and a temperature tolerance to 105 °C [221 °F]. It also comes equipped with high temperature tolerance of up to 105 °C [221 °F] and a power load switching capability of up to 7 A.
