DESCRIPTION

The M80-8980605 is a double-row rectangular connector designed for applications requiring both coaxial and power contact configurations. It features coaxial contacts with an impedance of 50 O and frequency range up to 6 GHz, supporting operating voltages of 180 V AC at 500 mA and maximum voltages of 1000 V AC rms. Power contacts are available with current ratings of 20 A (M80-3XX) or 40 A (M80-PXX) at 800 V DC or AC peak working voltage, with a maximum voltage proof of 1200 V DC or AC peak. The connector exhibits a contact resistance of 6 mO maximum, insulation resistance of 106 MO at 250 V rms, and mechanical durability of 500 mating operations with a contact wipe of 1.30 mm minimum. This connector is suitable for high-frequency signal transmission, power distribution, and mixed-signal applications in aerospace, defense, and industrial equipment requiring reliable, high-density interconnections.
