DESCRIPTION

The RM2U1918VBK is a 2U rack-mounted instrument enclosure manufactured by Hammond featuring extruded aluminum construction with vented top and bottom panels. It measures 3.50 inches in height, 16.60 inches in width, and 18.00 inches in depth, conforming to standard 19-inch rack specifications. The enclosure includes 19-inch rack mounting flanges, is finished in rugged textured black powder coat, and features a knockdown design with all assembly hardware, self-adhesive rubber feet, and one pair of rack mount brackets included. The unit accepts pull handles and adjustable rear bracket kits (sold separately), making it suitable for both desktop and rack-mount applications in laboratory, instrumentation, and equipment housing scenarios.
