DESCRIPTION

The 1550KBK is a rugged diecast aluminum enclosure designed for housing electronic instruments, finished in a textured black powder coat. It measures 140 mm in length, 102 mm in width, and 77 mm in height. The enclosure's lap joint construction is designed to meet IP54 standards, offering protection against dust and splashing water, and also provides EMI/RFI shielding. With no internal ribs and a low side wall draft angle, it allows for easy installation of PC boards and connectors. While sold without a gasket, it is suitable for various applications and can be upgraded with optional gaskets to achieve IP66 or IP67 ratings for enhanced environmental protection.
