DESCRIPTION

The 1455N1201 is an extruded aluminum enclosure from Hammond Manufacturing's 1455 Series, featuring a rounded rectangle profile with clear anodized finish. This enclosure is constructed from extruded aluminum with a minimum thickness of 0.06 inches (1.5 mm) and includes a slide-removable belly plate for easy access. The enclosure measures 120 mm in length, 103 mm in width, and 53 mm in depth, providing ample space for PC board mounting via internal extruded slots. It comes equipped with two aluminum end panels finished to match the anodized body, two black ABS plastic bezels (optional installation), self-adhesive rubber feet, and all necessary hardware including #6 x 3/8" steel screws with zinc plate finish. The recommended screw torque is 5 lbf-in. This enclosure is ideal for applications requiring robust protection of electronic components, equipment interfacing, and standard Eurocard-sized installations in industrial and commercial environments.
