DESCRIPTION

M3786/36-0325 is a Series 57 multi-deck rotary switch qualified to MIL-DTL-3786/36 military specification, designed for applications requiring reliable switching in harsh environments. The switch features a 1.125" ± 0.010" diameter with a 1/4 amp current capacity, gold-plated contact system compatible with logic circuitry, and shaft and panel sealing via O-rings to maintain environmental protection. It is constructed from military-grade materials including stainless steel shafts, brass gold-plated terminals, and silver alloy gold-plated rotor contacts, with rotational torque ranging from 20-80 in-ozs depending on deck and pole configuration. The switch meets stringent MIL-DTL-3786/36 requirements for moisture resistance, thermal shock (-65°C to 125°C), vibration (10 to 500 cps), salt spray, and terminal strength (2 lbs minimum pull, 15 pound-inches stop strength).
