DESCRIPTION

The HX241BAC is a 1500 VDC contactor designed for high-current DC power switching in demanding applications. It features a rated voltage of 1500 V and rated current of 400 A with a main contact arrangement of SPST-NO (single-pole single-throw normally open) and optional auxiliary contacts available in SPST-NO or SPST-NC configurations. The contactor delivers exceptional mechanical reliability with 1,000,000 cycles of mechanical life, a maximum contact resistance of 0.4 mO at rated carry current, and an insulation resistance of 100 MO. It withstands a dielectric voltage of 5375 V at sea level (leakage < 1 mA) and an impulse withstand voltage of 8 kV, with environmental sealing exceeding IP67 and IP69K standards. The device operates reliably across a temperature range of -55°C to +85°C and is ideal for renewable energy systems, electric vehicle charging infrastructure, and industrial power distribution where high voltage and current switching with long operational life are essential.
