DESCRIPTION

The GX26CA is a 600+ ampere, 12–800 VDC EPIC® hermetically sealed DC contactor designed for high-reliability switching applications. It features a rugged EP10 seal rated to 175°C, stand-up mounting with integrated safety cover, and hermetic sealing that meets UL1604 (Class I & II, Div 2 and Class III), IP67 for temporary water immersion, SAE J1171, and ISO8046 standards for hazardous locations and flammable gas environments. The contactor employs high-efficiency dual DC coils with very low continuous power consumption (7.8 W) available in 12, 24, or 48 VDC options, eliminating the need for external coil suppression and reducing EMI emissions on control power systems. With a mechanical life of 1,000,000 cycles, maximum contact resistance of 0.3 mO, and operate time of 20 ms maximum, it delivers robust performance for battery-powered systems, renewable energy applications, and industrial switching where low coil power and high reliability are essential.
