DESCRIPTION

The GX11KA is a 150+ ampere 12–800 VDC hermetically sealed DC contactor featuring GIGAVAC's rugged EPIC seal rated to 175°C for enhanced fire and meltdown protection. It is designed to meet UL1604 for hazardous locations (Class I & II, Div 2 and Class III), IP67 for temporary water immersion, and IP69K for pressure washing, with SAE J1171 external ignition protection and ISO8846 compliance for flammable gas environments. The contactor offers a mechanical life of 1,000,000 cycles with contact resistance of 0.15–0.3 mO typical and 0.4 mO maximum, operating over an ambient temperature range of -55°C to +85°C. Optional high-efficiency dual DC coils (12 or 24 VDC) provide very low continuous coil power with built-in suppression, eliminating external components and reducing system EMI. Its hermetic construction, stainless steel hardware, and position-insensitive mounting make it ideal for battery-powered systems, renewable energy applications, and harsh industrial environments requiring reliable high-current switching.
