The FLUKE-572-2 is a rugged infrared thermometer designed for high-temperature industrial environments including power utility, metal refining, glass, cement, and petrochemical applications. It measures temperatures from -30 °C to 900 °C with an accuracy of ±0 °C; ±1 °C or ±1% of reading (whichever is greater), featuring a 60:1 distance-to-spot ratio with dual laser sighting for accurate targeting and a minimum spot size of 19 mm. The device combines infrared measurement with K-type thermocouple input capability (-270 °C to 1372 °C), offering simultaneous display of both probe and IR temperatures, adjustable emissivity (0.10 to 1.00), and data storage for 99 measurement points. With its ergonomic design, straightforward user interface with soft-key menus, high and low temperature alarms, and USB 2.0 connectivity for data logging, the FLUKE-572-2 enables fast, accurate high-temperature and high distance-to-spot measurements in demanding industrial environments.
