DESCRIPTION

F1042-2PM is a plastic dust cap designed for shell size 2 connectors, providing protection and shielding for connector interfaces. The cap is constructed from ABS material with self-extinguishing properties (UL94V-0) and features a metallized finish with nickel plating over copper, delivering electromagnetic radiation shielding and electrostatic discharge protection. It meets IP 50 protection level requirements per DIN 40050 and is available in nickel color. The product is suitable for protecting pin and socket connectors in industrial and electronic applications where electromagnetic compatibility and static protection are essential.
