DESCRIPTION

SM4742 is a bulkhead SMA female (jack) to TNC female (jack) adapter from Fairview Microwave designed to enable connections between two otherwise incompatible connector types. The adapter features a passivated stainless steel body with gold over nickel plated beryllium copper contacts, operating across a frequency range from DC to 18 GHz with a maximum VSWR of 1.4:1 (1.2:1 from DC to 8 GHz). Mechanically, the adapter measures 1.300 inches (33.0 mm) in length and 0.44 inches (11.18 mm) in width, with a weight of 0.04 lbs (18.14 g), and supports 500 mating cycles on both connectors. The adapter is ideal for rack-mounted equipment, panel mount applications, and general-purpose test environments where reliable RF connections and connector protection are required.
