DESCRIPTION

The 2873006802 is a 73 material multi-aperture ferrite core designed for suppression applications, balun (balance-unbalance) transformers, and broadband transformer designs. This burnished core features dimensions of 13.3 mm (A), 27 mm (B), 7.5 mm (C), 5.7 mm (E), and 3.8 mm (H) with specified tolerances, and weighs 7 grams. The core is manufactured from 73 material grade and is controlled for impedance performance, with impedance measurements performed using a single turn through both apertures at various frequencies. Multi-aperture cores are also employed in airbag designs to prevent accidental activation, making them valuable in both signal processing and safety-critical applications.
