DESCRIPTION

The 2631626302 is a round ferrite cable EMI suppression core manufactured by Fair-Rite Products, designed to reduce electromagnetic interference in cable applications. This core features a 31 material grade ferrite composition with burnished edges to eliminate sharp surfaces, and exhibits typical impedance values ranging from 13.5 O at 1 MHz to 140 O at 250 MHz, with minimum impedance specifications at 10 MHz, 25 MHz, and 100 MHz. The core has outer diameter A of 18.7 mm, inner diameter B of 10.15 mm, and a standard length C of 14.65 mm (all dimensions modifiable for specific applications), with a weight of 13.3 grams. The calculated DC bias field is 0.29 Oe for 1 turn and 1 ampere, providing predictable performance in various circuit configurations. These suppression cores are ideal for cable shielding in instrumentation, data acquisition, and signal integrity applications where controlled impedance and EMI attenuation are required.
