DESCRIPTION

The PRC30 Multifunction Process Calibrator is a precision source and measure instrument designed for thermocouple (8-types), mA, mV, and V devices used in lab and field calibration operations. It features a palm-sized double molded housing with a large dot-matrix backlit LCD, high-accuracy calibration function that simulates precision thermocouple outputs, and up to five user-adjustable calibration presets. The device supports DC sourcing of current (0 to 24 mA) and voltage (0 to 2000 mV, 0 to 20 V) with ±(0.01% + 1 digit) accuracy, as well as measurement of current (0 to 50 mA) and voltage (0 to 1999 mV / 2 to 20 V) with the same accuracy specification. Thermocouple measurement ranges include Type J (-50 to 1000°C), Type K (-50 to 1370°C), Type T (-120 to 400°C), Type E (-50 to 750°C), Type C/R/S (0 to 1750°C), and Type N (-50 to 1300°C), each with ±(0.05% + 1–2°C) accuracy. The PRC30 includes 24V loop power, zero adjustment with auto-zero on power-on, standard banana I/O ports, mini thermocouple inputs, and a large battery bank for extended operation, making it ideal for sensor verification, controller calibration, transmitter simulation, and field service applications.
