DESCRIPTION

The 407744 is a sound level datalogger designed for comprehensive noise monitoring and data acquisition in industrial and environmental applications. It features autoranging over 6 ranges from 30 to 130 dB with high accuracy to ±1.5 dB and 0.1 dB resolution, combined with a built-in recorder capable of storing up to 128,000 readings with time and date logging. The device includes a large LCD display with 50-segment bar graph, A & C weighting options, Fast/Slow response modes, and meets ANSI S1.4 Type II and IEC 651 standards. Data is easily transferred to a PC via RS-232 interface using provided software and cable, enabling detailed analysis and reporting. The unit features a detachable 0.52" (13.2 mm) diameter condenser microphone, analog AC/DC recorder output of 10 mV DC/decibel, and Max Hold function for capturing peak levels. Common applications include office and plant noise monitoring, machinery noise assessment, noise reduction program verification, and community noise audits with error-free data storage.
