DESCRIPTION

XGNC is a modular power supply chassis from Advanced Energy's EXCELSYS UltiMod series, designed to deliver flexible, high-performance power conversion for demanding industrial and medical applications. The chassis supports multiple interchangeable powerMod modules (up to 4 modules in UX4 or 6 modules in UX6 configurations) with output power ratings up to 600 W (UX4) or 1200 W (UX6), and features user and field-configurable output voltages ranging from 2.5 V to 48 V depending on the installed modules. Key technical characteristics include efficiency up to 91%, input voltage range of 85–264 VAC (universal 47–440 Hz), isolation voltage of 4000 VAC (input to output), leakage current below 300 µA (or 150 µA with optional low-leakage configuration), and operating temperature range from -40°C to +70°C with startup capability at -40°C. The system provides standard medical-grade features including 2 MOPP and 4 kV isolation, active power factor correction, no minimum load requirement, and extra-low profile form factor (less than 1U height).
