DESCRIPTION
CMG is a dual-output CoolMod module designed for integration into Advanced Energy's CoolIX1000 fanless, intelligent 1000 W modular power supply system. The CMG module provides two independent 24 V outputs, each capable of delivering 3.0 A at 90 W total power, with adjustable set-point voltage ranging from 3.0 V to 30.0 V per output. The module features dual-output isolation with 500 VDC output-to-output galvanic isolation, line regulation of ±0.5%, load regulation of ±2%, and ripple and noise specifications of 2% peak-peak at 20 MHz bandwidth. CMG modules are commonly used in scientific, medical, and industrial applications requiring multiple isolated voltage rails within a compact, fanless form factor, enabling system designers to achieve flexible power distribution without acoustic noise or vibration concerns.
