DESCRIPTION
The RX8130CEB0 is a real-time clock module featuring an I²C-Bus interface and built-in frequency-adjusted 32.768 kHz crystal unit with integrated backup battery charge control functionality. It provides low backup current consumption of 300 nA typical at 3 V, automatic power switching to backup supply when VDD drops below 1.2 V, and selectable clock output frequencies of 32.768 kHz, 1024 Hz, or 1 Hz. The module includes alarm interruption capabilities (day, date, hour, minute, second), a wakeup timer function selectable from 244 µs to 7.5 years, and self-monitoring interruption detection for crystal oscillation stop, VBAT low, and VDD low conditions. Operating over a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C with supply voltages from 1.25 V to 5.5 V, this module is ideal for portable devices, IoT applications, and systems requiring precise timekeeping with minimal power consumption during backup operation.
