DESCRIPTION

The 180001J is a 1-pole decimal thumbwheel switch featuring 10 switching positions with large, easy-to-read characters and a snap-in mounting design. It operates with a tangential force of 4–16 oz and delivers a minimum life of 500,000 detents at 10 mA and 5 VDC at 25 °C. The switch supports a maximum rated load of 1 A per common terminal (non-switching) and 100 mA at 28 VDC or VAC (switching), with initial contact resistance of 100 mO maximum and insulation resistance of 1,000 MO minimum at 100 VDC. The device is housed in a slim 0.315" (8 mm) wide profile to conserve front panel space and operates across –20 °C to +65 °C with dust-resistant sealing. The 180001J is ideal for equipment requiring decimal output coding, such as test instruments, industrial controls, and consumer electronics, and is lead-free and RoHS compliant.
