DESCRIPTION

The 423-023-520-102 is a metal-to-metal card edge connector from the 423 Series, featuring 23 hermaphroditic contacts with 0.200" (5.08 mm) contact spacing and 0.300" (7.62 mm) row spacing in a staggered grid configuration. The connector is designed to mount into 0.062" (1.57 mm) or 0.093" (2.36 mm) nominal thickness PCBs via soldering and/or staking of PC tails, with a tail size of 0.044" × 0.025" (1.12 × 0.64 mm) and a tail length of 0.122" (3.10 mm). It incorporates gold plating over nickel on copper alloy contacts, supports a current rating of 10 amps with a maximum contact resistance of 10 milliohms, and operates reliably across -65°C to +125°C. The 423 Series is specifically designed to mate with 424 or 438 Series connectors and includes mounting holes and guide pins per MIL-C-21097, making it ideal for applications requiring robust, high-reliability interconnections in industrial and aerospace environments.
