DESCRIPTION
The ECS-98.3-S-1 is an HC-49U quartz crystal featuring AT-cut design for precision frequency generation and timing applications. This resistance weld type crystal operates across a frequency range of 1.800 to 100.000 MHz with excellent frequency tolerance of ±30 PPM at +25°C and frequency stability of ±50 PPM over the operating temperature range of -10°C to +70°C. The device exhibits exceptional aging characteristics with ±5.0 PPM in the first year at +25°C, combined with low shunt capacitance of 7.0 pF maximum and configurable load capacitance from 10.0 pF to series resonance. With maximum equivalent series resistance varying by frequency range (from 750 O at 1.8–2.0 MHz down to 20 O at 16–25 MHz) and drive levels of 2.0 mW (1.8–3.0 MHz) or 1.0 mW (3.0–100.0 MHz), this crystal is ideal for precision timing, clock generation, and frequency control in consumer electronics, telecommunications, and instrumentation systems.
