DESCRIPTION

PTR030V0600-BK1 is a 30 V DC radial leaded PolyTron™ PTC (Positive Temperature Coefficient) thermistor device designed for overcurrent and overtemperature protection in electronic circuits. The device features a maximum voltage rating of 30 V DC, a hold current of 6.00 A at +23 °C, and a trip current of 12.00 A, with a maximum time-to-trip of 30 seconds. It exhibits low initial resistance of 0.005 O (minimum) to 0.020 O (maximum), and a post-trip resistance of 0.04 O maximum, enabling fast response to fault conditions with minimal voltage drop during normal operation. The device is halogen-free, lead-free, and RoHS compliant, making it suitable for medical equipment, white goods, industrial power transmission, telecommunications, computers, consumer electronics, and rechargeable battery pack applications where reliable circuit protection is essential.
