DESCRIPTION

PHB-5R0V505-R is a PowerStor PHB Series supercapacitor designed for high energy density applications requiring bridging power, memory back-up, or battery swap out. This vertical leaded cylindrical device features a nominal capacitance of 5.0F with a maximum working voltage of 5.0V and surge voltage of 5.5V. It offers low ESR values of 0.12O at 1kHz and 0.13O at 100Hz for high power density, with a nominal leakage current of 25µA after 100 hours at 5V and 20°C. The supercapacitor operates over a temperature range of -25°C to 70°C, with extended operation up to 85°C with linear voltage derating to 4.0V. With nominal dimensions of 10.5 x 20.8 x 32mm and a typical mass of 7.5 grams, this RoHS compliant and halogen-free device is ideal for applications requiring ultra-high capacitance energy storage.
