DESCRIPTION

The KVR-5R0C105-R is a 1.0 F supercapacitor coin cell designed for high-reliability energy storage in backup power, pulse power, and hybrid power systems. It features a maximum working voltage of 5.0 V with a surge voltage rating of 5.5 V, a cylindrical configuration with an outer diameter of 20.8 mm and height of 7.6 mm, and a maximum initial ESR of 30 O at +25 °C. The device operates over a temperature range of -25 °C to +70 °C (extended to +85 °C with voltage derating), delivers a stored energy of 3.47 mWh, and maintains a nominal leakage current of 10 µA. With 500,000 charge/discharge cycles at +20 °C showing capacitance change = 30% and ESR change = 300%, this supercapacitor is ideal for real-time clock backup, electric utility meters, computers, network equipment, and industrial electronics requiring long cycle life and maintenance-free operation.
