DESCRIPTION

BK/MDA-1-R is a 1 ampere time-delay ceramic tube fuse rated for 250V AC operation, featuring a 1/4" x 1-1/4" (6.35 x 31.75 mm) physical size with nickel-plated brass endcaps. The fuse exhibits a typical melting I²t of 0.560 A²·sec and a typical voltage drop of 12.21 V at rated current, with an AC interrupting rating of 35 amps at 250V and a DC interrupting rating of 10,000 amps at 125V. It meets UL standard 248-14 and is available with optional axial leads. The time-delay characteristic provides protection against temporary overcurrents while responding to sustained fault conditions, making it suitable for industrial control circuits, power supplies, and general electronic equipment requiring reliable overcurrent protection.
