DESCRIPTION

LC2255EESP is a latching pushbutton switch from the Series LC lineup, designed for applications requiring reliable on/off control in telecommunications, networking, and instrumentation systems. The switch features a contact rating of 300 mA at 30 VDC, with a maximum initial contact resistance of 20 mO and an insulation resistance of 100 MO minimum, ensuring robust electrical performance. It operates over a temperature range of -20°C to +85°C and delivers an actuation force of 300 ± 150 gf with a typical life expectancy of 10,000 cycles. The switch utilizes silver over phosphor bronze contacts, silver over brass terminals, and an acetal actuator for durability and reliability. Its latching mechanical configuration with shorting timing and PC pin termination make it ideal for low-power on/off designs in external hard drives, modems, and performance audio equipment.
