DESCRIPTION
The SKL16 is an SMD Schottky barrier rectifier diode designed for high-speed rectification applications requiring low forward voltage drop and compact form factor. It features a repetitive peak reverse voltage (VRrm) of 60 V, a DC blocking voltage of 48 V, and a surge peak reverse voltage (VRSM) of 60 V, making it suitable for moderate voltage applications. The diode exhibits a forward voltage of less than 0.70 V at 1 A and 25°C, with a maximum junction temperature of 150°C and operating temperature range from -50°C to +150°C. The SKL16 is packaged in a low-profile SOD-123FL surface-mount package with a typical thermal resistance of 110 K/W (junction to ambient) and 40 K/W (junction to terminal). Common applications include output rectification in DC/DC converters, polarity protection circuits, and free-wheeling diodes in switching power supplies, where its low forward voltage drop and fast switching characteristics provide efficiency and reliability benefits.
