DESCRIPTION

The P6KE30A is a unidirectional transient voltage suppressor diode designed for overvoltage protection, ESD suppression, and free-wheeling applications. It features a breakdown voltage of 30 V (±5% tolerance) with a peak pulse power dissipation of 600 W at a 10/1000 µs waveform, and a steady-state power dissipation of 5 W at 75°C ambient temperature. The device exhibits very fast response time and operates over a junction temperature range of -50°C to +175°C, with a maximum instantaneous forward voltage of less than 3.5 V at 25 A. With its DO-15 package, thermal resistance of 30 K/W (junction to ambient), and RoHS compliance, the P6KE30A is well-suited for commercial and industrial-grade protection circuits in consumer electronics, industrial equipment, and telecommunications applications.
