DESCRIPTION
The GBU8M is a single-phase diode bridge rectifier designed for mains rectification and power supply applications. It features four diodes in bridge configuration with a maximum alternating input voltage of 700 V RMS and a repetitive peak reverse voltage (VRRM) of 1000 V, making it suitable for high-voltage AC-to-DC conversion. The device delivers a maximum rectified output current of 8.0 A with cooling fin assembly (300 cm²) at case temperature of 100°C, with a forward voltage drop below 1.0 V at 8 A. Key electrical characteristics include a peak forward surge current (IFSM) of 180 A (50 Hz) or 200 A (60 Hz), reverse recovery time of approximately 1500 ns, and junction temperature rating up to 150°C.
