DESCRIPTION

The GBU8K is a single-phase diode bridge rectifier designed for 50/60 Hz mains rectification and power supply applications. It features four diodes in bridge configuration with a maximum alternating input voltage of 560 V RMS and a repetitive peak reverse voltage (VRRM) of 800 V, delivering an average forward current (IFAV) of 8 A with a forward voltage drop below 1.0 V at 8 A. The device operates with a junction temperature range of -50°C to +150°C and exhibits a reverse recovery time of approximately 1500 ns, ensuring fast switching performance. The GBU8K is UL recognized (File E175067), RoHS compliant, and available in free-standing or heatsink-mounted configurations, making it suitable for commercial-grade power conversion and rectification circuits.
