DESCRIPTION
GBI40W is a single-phase diode bridge rectifier designed for 50/60 Hz mains rectification and power supply applications. It features four diodes in bridge configuration with a maximum alternating input voltage of 800 V RMS and a repetitive peak reverse voltage of 1600 V, providing robust protection against voltage transients. The device delivers a continuous rectified output current of 40 A with forced cooling at 100°C case temperature, with a forward voltage drop of less than 1.1 V at 20 A and a reverse recovery time of approximately 1500 ns. The GBI40W is protected against reverse assembly, operates over a junction temperature range of -50°C to +150°C, and is compliant with RoHS and AEC-Q101 standards. It is commonly used in industrial power supplies, mains rectification circuits, and applications requiring high reverse voltage capability with reliable thermal performance.
