DESCRIPTION
515-1305-1000F is a press-fit 3mm reverse mount light pipe designed for panel-mounted optical applications. The component features a dimension A of 1.000 inch (25.4 mm) and is available with either a polished surface with SPI AL finish or a diffused surface with Charmille #24 finish. The light pipe has a reference diameter of 0.125 inch (3.2 mm) with four ribs spaced 90° apart for structural support, and an outer diameter of 0.150 inch (3.8 mm). It is designed for panel thicknesses ranging from 0.040 inch to 0.093 inch (1.0 to 2.4 mm), with optional optical adhesive securing available after assembly. This light pipe is commonly used in backlighting applications and indicator panel assemblies where precise light transmission and mounting reliability are required.
