DESCRIPTION

515-1062F is an 8-element lightpipe component manufactured from clear, transmissive polycarbonate material (UL 94V-0 flammability rated) designed for direct press-fit insertion into printed circuit boards. The component features a matte finish with precisely defined dimensional specifications including a mounting pin diameter of 0.069 inches (1.75 mm) and overall dimensions of 0.540 inches (13.72 mm) in length and 0.180 inches (4.57 mm) in width. It operates reliably across a storage and operating temperature range of -30°C to +100°C, and is compatible with recommended surface-mount Dialight LEDs (597-3XX1-50XF for single color and 597-7XX1-50XF for bi-color configurations). This lightpipe is ideal for applications requiring optical signal transmission and visual indication in electronic assemblies where reliable light distribution and durability are essential.
