DESCRIPTION

The 515-1061F is a bi-level light pipe designed to direct and distribute light from single or bi-color SMT LEDs to printed circuit board applications. The component is molded from clear transmissive polycarbonate (UL 94V-0 flammability rated) and features two diffused front surfaces for optimal light distribution. Key dimensional specifications include a mounting pin diameter of 0.063±0.003 inches (1.6±0.01 mm), alignment pin dimensions of 0.055±0.003 inches (1.4±0.07 mm), and a minimum pitch allowance of 0.200 inches for either bi-color or single-color configurations. The light pipe is designed to be pressed directly into the PC board and operates reliably across a temperature range of -30°C to +100°C.
