DESCRIPTION
The 177-0973-003 is a water-tight incandescent indicator light designed for applications requiring sealed, reliable visual indication. It features a T-1 3/4 midget flange base with retained O-ring seals and two fully insulated terminals, providing water-tight, oil-tight, and dust-tight sealing on the face of the panel. The indicator is constructed with an aluminum mounting bushing (black anodize finish), brass hot-tinned terminals with elongated slots, and a high-impact plastic lens. It meets or exceeds the environmental and operational requirements of MIL-L-6723 and MIL-L-3661B standards, and mounts in a 15/32" clearance hole with a maximum panel thickness of 3/16". These indicators are commonly used in industrial control panels, marine equipment, and other harsh environments where moisture and contamination resistance are critical.
