DESCRIPTION

The DBT72405F-HR is a high-insulation resistance reed relay designed for high-voltage switching applications requiring exceptional isolation and reliability. Based on the part number decoding, this relay features 5kV isolation across contacts with tungsten contact material, a 24V DC coil, and flying lead connections for PCB mounting with high-voltage coil isolation. The relay achieves a maximum switching voltage of 3500V DC or AC peak with a maximum switching current of 2A and maximum carry current of 3A, while maintaining a contact resistance of 250 mO (typical 100 mO) and minimum insulation resistance of 1×106 O. With an operating temperature range of -20°C to +70°C, a lifetime operation rating of 106 cycles in dry switching conditions, and capacitance across contacts of less than 0.2 pF, this relay is ideal for sensitive test and measurement circuits, cardiac defibrillators, and high-voltage power supplies where low leakage current and high reliability are critical.
