DESCRIPTION

The GFT-8 is an 8-terminal phenolic terminal block designed for industrial electrical applications requiring reliable wire termination. It features a 20 A current rating (UL and CSA certified), 300 V voltage rating for the GFT series, and 3,600 V typical breakdown voltage between terminals. The block accommodates wire sizes from No. 22 AWG to No. 12 AWG with precision screw-machined brass inserts molded in place, and includes a 1/4" terminal-to-ground clearance suitable for sub-chassis or thru-panel mounting. With a 7/16" (11.11 mm) center-to-center spacing, tightening torque specifications of 9 in.-lb. for both wire binding screws and clamps, and housing material options of phenolic (150°C continuous use) or polyphenylene oxide (110°C continuous use), the GFT-8 provides durable, break-resistant construction for feed-thru, printed circuit, or surface connection applications. This terminal block is ideal for industrial control panels, machinery wiring, and equipment requiring UL recognition and CSA certification.
