DESCRIPTION

The GBSX-5 is a 5-terminal, closed-back terminal block from the GB series, featuring a thermoplastic polyphenylene oxide housing. It is rated for 20 amps and has multiple UL voltage ratings up to 600V for limited energy applications, with a CSA rating of 300V. The block accepts wire sizes from #22 to #12 AWG using No. 6-32 screws with a recommended tightening torque of 9 in-lb. Key characteristics include a continuous use temperature of 110°C, a UL 94V-0 flammability rating, and a typical terminal-to-terminal breakdown voltage of 5,800V. Its closed-back design allows for direct mounting on metal surfaces without additional insulation, making it ideal for various industrial and commercial wiring applications.
