DESCRIPTION
The CBPC-5 is a compact barrier-type terminal block from the CB/CFT series featuring a 0.375" (9.52mm) center-to-center spacing and supporting 1 to 26 terminals. It is rated for 20A continuous current at 600V (UL limited energy devices), with a breakdown voltage of 7,000V terminal-to-terminal and 6,000V terminal-to-ground. The housing is constructed from thermoplastic polyester with a 94V-0 flammability rating, making it suitable for high-moisture and dust environments, while solid brass terminals with tin plating are molded in place with precision screw-machined brass inserts to prevent twisting and solder joint failures. The block accepts wire sizes from No. 22AWG to No. 12AWG via No. 6-32 external terminal screws, with a contact resistance of 0.002 Ohm typical. This terminal block is ideal for industrial control applications, electronic feed-thru connections, and environments requiring reliable, space-saving interconnection solutions with UL and CSA certification.
