DESCRIPTION
E1017-59 is a Cam-Lok J-Series crimp vulcanized female plug designed for single pole power connectivity applications. This orange-colored connector is rated for 500 MCM cable size and features a voltage rating of 600V AC/DC with up to 545A continuous current capacity. The plug incorporates watertight rubber insulators molded from colorfast material for easy phase identification, with recessed contacts protected by an insulating jacket that extends beyond contact ends for safety. It features an integrated strain relief system with a retaining wire that prevents cable jacket pull-away and bare conductor exposure, along with a high-strength molded-in-place locking ring. Common applications include motors, generators, indoor and outdoor lighting distribution panels, and stand-by power systems where reliable single pole connectivity is required.
