DESCRIPTION
E1016-1732 is a Cam-Lok J-Series single pole insulated female receptacle designed for reliable power connectivity in industrial applications. This brown color-coded receptacle features double set screw termination and is rated for 600 volts and 400 amps, with a watertight elastomeric body molded from colorfast material for easy phase identification. The receptacle includes recessed contacts protected by an insulating jacket that extends beyond contact ends for safety, and is safety insulated for direct mounting to steel panels. Contacts are carefully machined from high conductivity brass to provide a smooth sliding fit and easy locking action, with 1/3 of a turn assuring high pressure contact approaching 600 lbs per sq. in. for minimum resistance. Common applications include motors, generators, indoor and outdoor lighting distribution panels, and stand-by power systems.
