DESCRIPTION

E1015-8311 is a Cam-Lok single pole set screw non-vulcanized male plug designed for reliable industrial power connectivity applications. This white color-coded connector accepts cable sizes from #8 to #4 AWG and features watertight elastomeric TPE insulators for phase identification and environmental protection. The plug provides superior electromechanical connections with locked contacts capable of withstanding a pulling force of 1,000 lbs, while 1/3 of a turn delivers high pressure contact approaching 600 lbs per sq. in. for minimum resistance. Operating over an ambient temperature range of -40°C to 105°C, it is UL1691 and CSA C22.2 No.1691-12 listed with NEMA 3R rating. Common applications include motors, generators, indoor and outdoor lighting distribution panels, and stand-by power systems.
