DESCRIPTION

ENR5201 is a 20 ampere, 125 volt explosionproof interlocked circuit-breaking receptacle designed for use in hazardous locations classified as Class I Division 1 & 2 Groups B, C, D and Class II Division 1 & 2 Groups F, G. The receptacle features a factory-sealed chamber that encloses arcing components between two explosionproof threaded joints, a one-piece molded gasket seal, and three spring-loaded slide keys that prevent face plate rotation until the ENP plug is fully inserted. The housing is constructed from die-cast copper-free aluminum with interior components made from Krydon fiberglass-reinforced polyester, brass receptacle blades, and silver switch contacts. The top-hinged cover design with 45° downward angle provides superior protection in damp, wet, and dirty locations. ENR5201 receptacles are commonly used with portable electrical equipment such as compressors, tools, and lighting systems in areas made hazardous by flammable vapors, gases, or combustible dusts, and in corrosive environments where power requirements do not exceed 20 amperes.
