DESCRIPTION

OELB1 is an explosionproof and dust-ignitionproof LB-style conduit outlet body designed for installation in hazardous area conduit systems. It features a 1/2" hub size with taper threaded hubs for ground continuity and smooth integral hub bushings to protect conductor insulation during pulling. The body is constructed from Feraloy iron alloy with an electrogalvanized finish and is certified for Class I, Divisions 1 & 2, Groups C, D; Class II, Division 1, Groups E, F, G; Class II, Division 2, Groups F, G; and Class III environments. Common applications include protecting conductors in threaded rigid conduit, acting as pulling and splice fittings, interconnecting conduit lengths, and providing access for maintenance in hazardous locations.
