DESCRIPTION

The SCRN243R-F is a film-paper, extended foil commutating capacitor specifically designed for silicon controlled rectifier (SCR) applications. It features a capacitance of 3 µF with a ±10% tolerance and is rated for a peak voltage of 1500 Vpk. This component can handle a maximum RMS current of 60 A and has a maximum VA rating of 2550 at 65°C. Housed in a 'C' style metal case, it is built to withstand high peak voltages and currents, making it ideal for high-frequency and pulsed power circuits where high reliability and a 40,000-hour life expectancy are required.
